Protecting your financial data is essential to how BankToBudget operates. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use the service, how we use that information, and the choices you have.
When you request a budget we collect your email address and the CSV file you upload. If you decide to pay for the finished budget, our payment processor will also collect the details needed to complete the transaction. We do not receive or store your full payment information.
We use your CSV file solely to identify recurring income, bills, and spending patterns so we can build your spreadsheet. Your email address lets us send you the completed XLSX file, status updates, and payment instructions. We may also use it to respond to support requests.
CSV uploads are processed in a secure environment and deleted immediately after the budget is generated. We keep a record of your email address and completed budget delivery so we can provide support if needed, but we do not store your original transaction data.
BankToBudget uses encrypted connections and limited access controls to protect your information. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we continuously monitor the system to keep your data safe.
You can request deletion of any stored contact information or ask questions about this policy by emailing hi@banktobudget.com.
We will update this Privacy Policy when we introduce new features or need to comply with legal requirements. When we do, the revised policy will be posted here with an updated effective date.
