BankToBudget transforms the transactions you export from your bank into an editable budget spreadsheet. These Terms describe how you can use the service and how we collaborate to keep your data safe and the output useful.
BankToBudget helps you create a personalized budget by analyzing the CSV file you upload. You are responsible for ensuring the data you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it with us. We support CSV exports from most banks worldwide, and we rely on those exports to include useful descriptions so the AI can identify recurring bills and spending patterns.
The spreadsheet you receive is generated by software. It is a starting point for your budgeting and not financial, investment, accounting, or legal advice. You should review the results and make any adjustments you need before relying on them.
You only pay after the analysis is complete and you have had a chance to review the delivered budget. Payment is processed through our secure checkout. If you are not satisfied with the results, simply email hi@banktobudget.com for a full refund—no questions asked.
Your CSV file is used only to generate the spreadsheet. It is processed securely and deleted right after the budget is created. We never store your transaction data permanently, and access is limited to the systems that generate your analysis.
Do not upload information you are prohibited from sharing, attempt to interfere with the service, or use it to violate any laws. We may suspend access if we detect activity that threatens the security or reliability of the platform.
We may update these Terms to reflect improvements to BankToBudget or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the effective date below. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
